Hisame (ヒサメ, Hisame, Hisame^?) was the only grandchild and very first reincarnation of warrior yandere Hayase and the first to inherit her strong, twisted will regarding Fushi the Immortal.

Background

Hisame's mother was Hayase's only daughter, while Hayase herself died before Hisame was born. Before passing, Hayase proclaimed that she would live on in her daughter's womb, making Hisame her reincarnation.

The Nokker that attacked and merged with Hayase was also passed down to her daughter and then to Hisame, where it resided in her left arm and lived off of her blood, and it even seemed to understand her human words.

Appearance

Hisame was a young girl with dark eyes and black hair wrapped in a bun tied by a bow. She wore a smaller version of the attire of the Guardian Force's leader, including decorated robes with the organization's symbol and armored pauldrons.

Personality

Dutiful and earnest to a fault, Hisame was entrusted with the Guardian Force's mission: "to protect [Fushi] from the unknown, and to protect the people from the unknown that he is", as well as one day bear Fushi's children, though she was not taught this properly since she was not yet of age.

She spoke regularly of stories from Hayase's biography, and likewise shared her grandmother's desire to obtain Fushi, indoctrinated with the belief that they were not trying to possess him, but protecting him. While kind and affectionate around the immortal, she was no stranger to utilizing poison and was extremely protective of her Nokker, believing it to symbolize the connection between her and Fushi.

Trivia

• Hisame had her daughter, Oumi, when she was just seventeen, and passed away half a year before Oumi met Fushi for the first time.
